Critter Car is not an animal ambulance. For a potentially life-threatening condition, contact an emergency veterinary hospital first and follow its instructions. Transportation can be considered only when a safe route and receiving facility are confirmed.
Ground transportation role
Critter Car provides appointment-based ground transportation and related logistical support. Depending on the confirmed service, this may include pickup, secure vehicle travel, parking, waiting, appointment attendance, document or medication handoff, and delivery to an authorized person or care provider.
Not veterinary diagnosis or treatment
Critter Car and its drivers do not diagnose, prescribe, provide veterinary treatment, determine medical fitness to travel, or replace a veterinarian’s advice. A medical chaperone may relay written questions and information but does not independently authorize care unless the guardian has provided lawful, specific authority accepted by the veterinary provider.
Not emergency medical transport
Critter Car vehicles are not represented as medically equipped animal ambulances. Drivers do not provide onboard emergency stabilization or continuous clinical monitoring. Express transport means a time-critical ground-transport request subject to availability; it is not a guarantee of medical outcome or equivalent to emergency response.
Airline and airport limitations
Critter Car is not an airline, airport authority, cargo operator, or guarantor of air travel. Airlines determine reservation availability, carrier rules, fees, health and document requirements, temperature restrictions, acceptance windows, flight operation, terminal or cargo-office procedures, and release of the animal.
Critter Car cannot guarantee that an airline, cargo office, airport, destination, or receiving party will accept or release an animal. The guardian or shipper remains responsible for the airline reservation, payment, documentation, identification, and correct handoff instructions unless a separate written agreement expressly assigns a task.
Interstate and international requirements
Critter Car does not provide legal, customs, import, export, or regulatory advice as part of ordinary transportation. Destination jurisdictions set entry requirements, and airlines may impose additional conditions. Guardians are responsible for obtaining current veterinary certificates, endorsements, permits, vaccines, tests, records, and other documents unless covered by a separate written relocation service.
Timing and route conditions
Requested and estimated times are not absolute guarantees. Traffic, collisions, construction, weather, smoke, snow, closures, parking, flights, clinics, cargo operations, mechanical issues, animal distress, access problems, and receiving-party delays can change a route or arrival time. Waiting, parking, rerouting, return transportation, or alternate care may add charges.
Animal condition and equipment
The guardian is responsible for disclosing health, medication, mobility, behavior, bite, escape, panic, temperature, and handling concerns and for providing suitable equipment. Critter Car may decline or stop transport when an animal cannot be contained or transported within available capability or when continuing would create an unreasonable safety risk.
Third-party services and external links
Veterinary practices, airlines, airports, cargo operators, boarding facilities, groomers, relocation providers, payment processors, maps, and linked websites are independent third parties with their own decisions, terms, and privacy practices. References or links are provided for coordination and information and do not make Critter Car responsible for their performance.
Website information
Website content is intended for general service planning and may not reflect every unusual route, animal, legal requirement, airline policy, or real-time condition. Published information can change. The written confirmation and any signed agreement control the specific transportation service.
No guarantee of outcome
Critter Car does not guarantee a medical, behavioral, airline, regulatory, travel, boarding, grooming, relocation, or other third-party outcome. We commit to performing the confirmed ground-transport service with reasonable care within the actual conditions and stated scope.
